The Human Resources Department takes care of one of our most important assets: our people. Human Resources provides service and resources for employees who are members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 1306, the Trent Lakes Firefighters Association, and our full-time, part-time, casual and seasonal employees. The department provides expertise on people-related issues, benefits and compensation, recruits employees, provides training, and ensures a healthy and safe work environment is maintained. Human Resources also oversees collective bargaining and labour relations, job evaluations and descriptions, and employee wellness programs.
