Green Bin Composting

Buckhorn Transfer Station is the only station currently accepting organic compost waste. The Organic Program at the Buckhorn Transfer Station is operated through the County of Peterborough. Organic materials are accepted free of charge and accepts a wide range of organic material.

Absolutely no plastic, including biodegradable or compostable bags, can go in our organics programs
