Remembrance Day Hours & Services

The Municipality of Trent Lakes will be closed on Monday, November 13, 2017 for Remembrance Day.

All Waste Sites are now on Winter Hours and open under normal hours of operation on Saturday, November 11th.

Both the Buckhorn Branch and the Cavendish Branch of the Trent Lakes Public Library will be closed on Remembrance Day, Saturday, November 11th, 2017.

Local Remembrance Day Services:

Buckhorn will be holding their Remembrance service at their new cenotaph located at the Buckhorn Community Centre,
1782 Lakehurst Road on Wednesday, November 8th at 2 p.m.. Light refreshments will follow in the Centre.

Kinmount will be holding two Remembrance services, the first will be on Sunday, November 5th (with a lunch to follow at the Legion) and the other will be on Saturday November 11th, Remembrance Day.  Both services will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Kinmount Cenotaph, located on the main street.

Parade and Remembrance service on Saturday, November 11. Parade from the Bobcaygeon Royal Canadian Legion Branch 239 begins at 10:30 and proceeds to the cenotaph in the park at the lock 32 and the swing-bridge. Service begins at 11 a.m. at the cenotaph.
