The Kinmount District Health Centre (KDHC) is the hub for primary and preventative health care services for the Kinmount area and for many of the surrounding communities.
The Health Centre was established in 1999 as a joint initiative of the municipality and the Kinmount District Health Services Foundation, a local, registered charity which promotes health care in the area through the services at the Health Centre. It was renovated and expanded in 2008 to enable three family physicians to practice in modern, spacious facilities.
In addition to the care provided by the KDHC family physicians, the Health Centre hosts a number of allied health and support services including meetings of the Arthritis Society, the Alzheimer’s Society, Alcoholics Anonymous, and a diabetes clinic. The building also hosts one of Kinmount’s two pharmacies and a physiotherapy clinic.
If you are looking for a family doctor, please contact the Health Centre for information about the patient waiting list.
Physicians who are interested in discovering the many financial and lifestyle benefits of practicing in this community are invited to contact the Health Centre or phone our Recruitment Phone Number 705-928-0048. An information package can be downloaded at the following link:
