In light of recent announcements from the Provincial and Federal Government the Municipality of Trent Lakes is now taking decisive action to ensure the well-being of the public and staff.
Effective Wednesday, March 18th the Trent Lakes Municipal Office will be CLOSED to the public, as recommended by public health officials. Municipal business will continue as staff will remain available between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, and can be reached by phone at 705-738-3800 or email.
If you do not know the email of the individual you are trying to reach, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. No in-person meetings will be permitted during this time. Please understand that it may take longer to reply to messages as staff handle increased phone and email inquiries.
Tax payments can be made via online or telephone banking through your banking institution. You can also pay by credit card through a Paymentus online third party service at http://www.trentlakes.ca/departments/taxes/payment-options/ (an administration fee applies). Payments can also be dropped off at the secure drop box located on the upper floor of the Trent Lakes Municipal Office (760 County Road 36). All essential Municipal services (Emergency Services, Waste Transfer Stations, Public Works) will continue to operate as usual.
Waste Transfer Stations
Until further notice, the Transfer Stations will only be accepting Household Garbage and Recycling. Attendants will not be handling cash. Residents are asked to show their Waste/Access Cards from the recommended 2 metres (6.5 ft).
Organics Program Suspended
The organics program at the Buckhorn Transfer Site is suspended effective immediately. The Moleks are closed to protect public health.

The Municipal Office, Trent Lakes Library Branches, Community Centres/Halls are all closed to the public until further notice. Recreation programs, Committee and Board meetings are all suspended until further notice.
