Effective June 1 - Trent Lakes fire danger index is at High.
This means extreme caution must be taken with all open flames. Forest fuels are very dry, and the risk of fire is serious. New fires may start easily, burn vigorously, and challenge fire suppression efforts.
Reminder there is no daytime burning between 8 am and 6 pm until October 31.
All open air fires must have a burn permit.Apply for a permit here.
