Peterborough County advises that Peter's Island Bridge, located on Peter's Island Road (Crystal Lake), will be closed to traffic for the following periods:

• Monday May 17 to May 21, 2021 during daytime hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, May 19, 2021 overnight from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

COVID-19 Update - 55+ Vaccine Eligibility

Peterborough Public Health announces that as of Friday April 30, booking will open for all individuals age 55 years and older.  Peterborough has around 4000 appointments available at this time. They are hoping to promote this to all residents over 55+ as their data shows that only 59% of residents age 60-69 have received their first dose.

Gannon's Narrows Bridge Closure

Notice of Closure - Gannon's Narrows Bridge

Please be advised that repairs to damaged structure components at the Gannon’s Narrows Bridge located on County Road 16 will be commencing on June 7, 2021 through June 30, 2021.

During this period, the bridge will be completely closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and reopened to traffic at night and on weekends.
