I saw some green grass this morning, so there is hope for us yet!
It is nice to see our restrictions being lifted, but we can only hope that we will follow the precautions that have helped to get us here still adhered to. Wash hands, and wear a mask wherever you might infect or be infected. Vaccinations are the best at minimizing long term effects even if you should contact the virus. I can only say how proud I am of the way people have treated each other, and the degree of respect that has been shown, even though at times the message has changed so rapidly it has been hard to keep up. We will be getting council back to normal, or the new normal shortly, so I look forward to seeing some of your faces. We are so lucky to live in this part of the world but let’s keep our hearts and minds on the struggles the people of the Ukraine are enduring. Our forefathers fought this fight to make sure we don’t live in those circumstances, so let’s not forget our past, and those who sacrificed for us.
Many organizations are collecting for the Ukraine. Make sure if you are so inclined, to donate through a bank so as to make sure your donation ends up where you intend.
Thanks for your attention. You are a good bunch!
