Beginning April 1, there will be no daytime burning permitted (between the hours of 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.) until October 31, 2024.
If you are planning on having an open air burn in Trent Lakes, you must have a burn permit. A burn permit is free and is valid until December 31st of the year you obtained it. Learn more about burn permits here.

The Municipality of Trent Lakes invites you to join us in celebration of Buckhorn’s first playground at Ode’Naang Park as we recognize the impact of the funding received from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) that made the playground possible.
There will be multiple speakers at the event, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The municipal office will be closed on Friday, March 29, 2024 for Good Friday, and Monday, April 1, 2024 for Easter Monday.
The office will re-open at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
*All waste transfer station sites will be closed on Easter Monday.

Notice by Parks Canada: Parks Canada is advising the public that consultations are now underway on a Notice of Mooring Restrictions that is planned to come into effect on May 1, 2024, related to the mooring of floating accommodations on the Trent-Severn Waterway.
