The Municipality of Trent Lakes is seeking feedback from the public ahead of budget considerations.

Council tries to maintain a reasonable balance between the levels of service offered and the amount levied from property taxes, however the cost of deliverables rise. What would you prefer to see happen for the 2027 budget?

The Finance department looks after all financial matters for the Municipality. The department provides financial information to Council, the public and other municipal departments. The responsibilities of the Finance department include:

Accounts payable and receivable
Asset management
Audit compliance
Billing and collection of property taxes
Development of the operating and capital budgets
Financial accounting and reporting
Grant reporting
Investment and debt management
Payroll and employee benefit administration
