Building By-law Fee Review - Sewage Permit Fees

Whereas Section 7 of the- Building Code Act, S.O, 1992, C23, as amended authorizes a Municipal Council to pass By-law respecting the issuance of permit sand related matters.

And Whereas Section 7 (6) (a) and 7(6) (b) requires the Municipality to give notice of the proposed changes;

Now Therefore the Municipality of Trent Lakes proposes to enact a By-law to change the fees for applications for a building permit and for the issuance of a permit specifically septic permit fees, at the regular Council meeting scheduled on March 5, 2024. The public meeting commences at 1:00 pm and will be held in the Council Chambers, 760 County Road 36, Trent Lakes, Ontario.

Participation in the Public Meeting
Any person may attend the public meeting, either in-person or virtually, and make written and / or an oral submissions either in support or opposition to the proposal. In order to make arrangements to attend the virtual meeting please contact the Clerk by email at clerk@trentlakes.ca no later than 4:00 pm on the day prior to the scheduled public meeting. You will be given guidance and instructions on how to attend via the digital platform. It is the responsibility of those interested in attending to have the technology in place to connect to the meeting.
