Municipality of Trent Lakes Launches a second Food Waste Diversion Program A Countertop Composter, the FoodCycler
The Municipality of Trent Lakes is partnering once again with Cornwall/ Ottawa based company, Food Cycle Science to offer a second pilot project for the on-site food waste diversion solution that will reduce the amount of organics material that goes into the waste stream.

The County of Peterborough has been working with neighbouring Municipalities to create a new Official Plan. This plan is currently in draft format and be viewed at the County of Peterborough's Website. Please frequent their website for open house details and further information.

The Municipality of Trent Lakes is seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Library Assistant. This position will be scheduled for six (6) hours each Wednesday and Saturday at our Cavendish location, and as needed to provide appropriate coverage for our service delivery requirements. During the summer months the successful candidate will be scheduled for an additional six (6) hours each Tuesday.

Take notice that on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, the Council of Peterborough County will hold a virtual public meeting pursuant to the Development Charges Act, 1997, regarding proposed development charge rates and policies that will be applied throughout the County. It is proposed that enactment of a development charges by-law by Council would occur on a date after the public meeting.
