Residents, and visitors to the Municipality of Trent Lakes are reminded that fireworks are only permitted at designated times of any given calendar year.
The Civic Holiday on Monday, August 2nd long weekend, and the weekend preceding it, and following it ARE permitted periods that fireworks are allowed between 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Continue to adhere to Public Health COVID-19 measurements and be meticulous to continue to advance and enjoy more moments like these that we've missed.

Peterborough Public Health has advised the following regarding Trent Lakes public beaches and if they can be open.
Public beaches in Trent Lakes are allowed to be open to the public with social distancing measures in place. This includes when swimming or playing in the water or at the shoreline. Please be sure to follow all guidelines so that these outdoor recreation areas can remain open.

Notice of Bridge Closure

Gannon’s Narrows Bridge
Please be advised that repairs to damaged structure components at the Gannon’s Narrows Bridge located on County Road 16 will be commencing on June 7 to June 30, 2021.
During this period, the bridge will be completely closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and reopened to traffic at night and on weekends.

Peterborough Public Health has advised the province has recently increased access to onsite, rapid testing for some workplaces.
