Brush Disposal

You may drop off brush free of charge during operating hours until further notice:

  • Bobcaygeon Transfer Station, 42 Peterborough County Road 36, Trent Lakes
  • Buckhorn Transfer Station, 37 Dump Road, Buckhorn
  • Cavendish Transfer Station, 3020 County Road 507, Trent Lakes
  • Crystal Lake Transfer Station, 665 Crystal Lake Road, Trent Lakes

NOTE: The following are NO LONGER ACCEPTING brush as they are at their capacity:

  • 49 Public Works Depot at 110 County Rd 49, Trent Lakes, K0M 1A0 
  • County of  Peterborough Public Works Yard, 2467 County Road 36, Trent Lakes, ON K0L 1J0 - as of May 5/25
  • Galway Public Works Depot, 382 Galway Rd, Kinmount, ON K0M 2A0 (as of 6/15)
  • Cavendish Community Centre, 32 Community Complex Dr, Buckhorn, ON K0L 1J0 (as of 6/15)

As of June 15, the following locations will NO LONGER be accepting brush drop-off due to full capacity:

  • Cavendish Community Centre
  • Galway Hall

ALL transfer stations will continue to be available for brush drop-off during regular hours. Any size brush will be accepted.
