Buckhorn Lake Estates Water System Notice from OCWA

Please be advised that there has been a change in the well water quality likely caused by dry conditions over this summer.

Residents may notice a slight discoloration of the water during this period and the possibility of staining of toilets and fixtures. The water continues to be safe to consume and meets the Ontario regulations and standards.

It is common for the iron and manganese to increase during the summer months but it usually decreases again in the fall. 

We are asking users to reduce any non-essential water uses like lawn watering and car washing.
