Canada Day 2026

Please note the Municipal office will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 for the Canada Day holiday, and will re-open on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.

Transfer Stations:
All Transfer Station sites will be CLOSED on Canada Day and will resume regular hours on Thursday, July 2.

Fireworks:
Fireworks are permitted on Canada Day (July 1) - between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., as well as the weekends directly preceding and following it.

Well Water Sampling Program:
Due to the laboratory closure in observance of Canada Day, water samples will not be accepted at the Municipal office on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

The program will resume on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

Note: Samples must be tested within 48 hours of collection in order to ensure sample integrity.
