Help Shape the Future of Transit in Peterborough County
Community Care Peterborough is exploring new public transit options in Peterborough County, and they want your input!
Community Care Peterborough, in collaboration with Dillon Consulting Ltd., is completing a study for a potential public transit service across Peterborough County.
This project will identify what solutions are viable to provide new travel options for residents between our many towns, villages, landscapes, and communities.
This study is looking at service options for all residents, including commuters, students, retirees, families, and anyone else looking for new ways to get into the city and around the County.
To help develop solutions, Community Care is hoping you will fill out the survey to understand your current travel behavior and key priorities regarding a potential implementation of public transit service in the County.
The survey will be available until July 10, 2026.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Paper copies are available at all Community Care offices, local Township offices, and First Nation offices.

Also plan to attend the Open House on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Douro Community Centre (2893 ON-28, Douro-Dummer, ON).
