Peterborough County Hosts 1st Local Municipal Job Fair for Students

Peterborough County, in collaboration with the City of Peterborough, Selwyn Township, and the Municipality of Trent Lakes, is thrilled to announce its first-ever Local Municipal Job Fair! This event focuses on post-secondary students seeking meaningful summer employment opportunities. It will take place on Tuesday, February 13, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM in the banquet room at the Healthy Planet Arena, Peterborough.
The job fair brings together representatives from four local municipalities to showcase the diverse and rewarding opportunities available in municipal work. Students will have the chance to speak directly with hiring managers about a variety of summer positions and learn why municipal work is a valuable and fulfilling career choice.
This event offers attendees:
- Information on available summer job opportunities.
- Insight into the benefits of municipal employment, such as skill- building, resume development, and contributing to the community.
