August 28, 2025 [TRENT LAKES, ON] – The Municipality of Trent Lakes has officially opened its new mechanics facility, known as the 49 Depot, marking a significant investment in Municipal operations. Community members joined Council and staff on Saturday, August 23, 2025, to tour the newly completed building.

We’re just one day away from our Open House at the brand-new mechanics facility—the new home for our Public Works and Recreation & Facilities teams! 

Community Futures Peterborough (CFP) and the Business Advisory Centre (BAC) are proud to partner with Scotiabank to announce the launch of SOAR, a brand new, cohort program designed for established businesses that are ready to expand or scale their operations. 

The Innovation Cluster recently announced “BuildUP”, a free 8-week program to help skilled tradespeople launch their own business.

Peterborough County business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to attend The Resilient Retailer, a dynamic one-day event designed to equip business leaders with the tools and strategies they need to remain profitable, adaptable, and competitive in today’s evolving economy.

Over the weekend, hydro workers have been working hard to restore power to the County and will continue until power is restored to all homes. 

In Trent Lakes, we are focused on ensuring residents have locations to drop off their brush and are monitoring flood levels.
