Over the weekend, hydro workers have been working hard to restore power to the County and will continue until power is restored to all homes. 

In Trent Lakes, we are focused on ensuring residents have locations to drop off their brush and are monitoring flood levels.

As we head into the weekend, the Municipality can confirm more hydro workers are entering our area to help restore power to your homes. 

Widespread power outages persist across all of our area, and numerous roads remain impassable due to fallen trees and downed power lines. Trent Lakes Public Works, Hydro One, Peterborough County Public Works, and emergency services have been working diligently.

Municipality of Trent Lakes has Declared an Emergency following the severe ice storm that impacted our Municipality.

Peterborough County and Peterborough and the Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce invite tourism operators and business owners servicing the Visitor Economy to Tourism Talks, a roundtable event series where your voice matters.

STRA owners are now required to register their property with the Municipality of Trent Lakes, after Trent Lakes Council approved the STRA Mandatory Registration By-Law brought forward at the March 4, 2025, Council Meeting.

Applications are now open for Community Futures Peterborough's 2025 Summer Company Program!

The Summer Company Program is an opportunity for eligible youth to receive up to $3,000 in grants to start a business in the City or County of Peterborough. The program provides youth (15-29 years) with grant dollars, business skills development, training, advice, and mentoring.

Applications are open until May 17, 2025 at 11:59pm.
