TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Trent Lakes proposes to enact a by-law to stop up, to close and to sell to the abutting land owners those lands and premises more particularly described in Schedule "A" annexed hereto.
Take Notice That the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Trent Lakes proposes to enact a By-law to stop up, close and offer for sale to the owner of an island property:
Reduced load restrictions have been lifted for all Municipal roads in Trent Lakes, effective Thursday, May 1, 2025. The County of Peterborough have also lifted their reduced load restrictions on all County roads, effective April 30, 2025.
As of April 14, 2025, the Municipality of Trent Lakes has officially ended its Emergency Declaration due to the ice storm in March.
Over the weekend, hydro workers have been working hard to restore power to the County and will continue until power is restored to all homes.
In Trent Lakes, we are focused on ensuring residents have locations to drop off their brush and are monitoring flood levels.

As we head into the weekend, the Municipality can confirm more hydro workers are entering our area to help restore power to your homes.

What: Jack Lake Road north of Shady Lane is completely closed with no emergency access.
Reason: Road washout due to water overflow.
When: April 3, 2025 at 1:18 p.m. - ongoing
