  • Municipal Office Closed - March 31, 2025

    NOTICE: Due to the impact of the freezing rain over the weekend, the Municipal Office will be closed today, March 31, 2025.

    For power outage updates, please visit Hydro One's website.

    Please stay safe by:

    • Refraining from travel unless necessary.
    • Staying clear of and reporting downed power lines. Contact Hydro One directly at 1-800-434-1235.
    • Staying clear of fallen trees, branches and damaged electrical equipment.
    • Using flashlights instead of candles.

  • Significant Weather Event Declared

    The Municipality of Trent Lakes has declared a significant weather event. 

    What is a significant weather event?

    A significant weather event is defined as an approaching or occurring weather hazard with the potential to pose a significant danger to the users of highways within a municipality. When hazardous weather is expected, Environment Canada will issue an alert under its Public Weather Alerting Program.

    The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) – Bracebridge-Minden-Parry Sound District is advising area residents that a Flood Warning bulletin is in effect for the Black, Burnt, Magnetawan, Muskoka, and Severn River watersheds in the District until Friday, April 04, 2025.
