Buckhorn Lake Estates Water System Notice from OCWA
Please be advised that there has been a change in the well water quality likely caused by dry conditions over this summer.
The Nichols Cove Bridge on Northern Avenue (just east of Kennedy Drive) in the Municipality of Trent Lakes will be closed to all traffic from August 18 to December 12 for a full bridge replacement.
On August 14, 2025, Kawartha Conservation declared a Level 1 Low Water Condition across the watershed, asking residents, businesses, and municipalities to reduce water use by 10% to help protect water supplies and aquatic ecosystems.

Due to current conditions, the Municipality of Trent Lakes has issued a ban on all open-air burning effective August 5, 2025. This ban suspends all approved Open-Air Burning Permits.
